If you have a firewall installed, you need to allow our software to access port 80 and 443. In a standard firewall configuration there is an inside network interface (i.e. your LAN with the online backup software) and an outside network interface (i.e. the Internet or WAN). The inside network is considered to be 'trusted', while the outside network is 'not trusted'. Connections with the Data Center are always initiated by the Online Backup software-client. ( Turbo Backup never initiates a connection to the online backup client.) Therefore, you must allow ports 80 and 443 for the TCP protocol for the inside network interface. If you do not use DHCP for the online backup client computer, you have additional flexibility: • You can specify in the firewall that only the online
backup client computer's IP address can use ports 80 and 443. Setup Transparency 2. There is no need for transparency on the outside network interface. Ports 2. If the online backup client computer has more than one
